hi, my pc has blown up and ive got 400 quid to buy a new one , can i get something reasonable for that kind of money and expect it to run fsx satisfactory, my old machine was a beast and ran fsx no probs...thanks for any pointers

Well let put it this way.

You said that your pc run fsx very well....could you buy it again for 400 quid. if you could then try to buy the closest you can to your exploded machine.

By the way where are you, US or UK?
400 makes a big diference between this  2 countrys.  ;)
Send your old specs. Its helps to give you an idea

I got mine off Ebay for that much, it is a very nice machine even for being 4+ years old.  :-*

Just look around, and do your homework.  ;)

I bought the pieces of my actual game PC, a Athlon 64 X2 6000 + MB Asus M2N + 4GB DDR II 800 Kingston + Gefo 9600GT 512Mb DDR III + HD 512GB (minus the case, power supply and DVD burner that I had already) for about 350
