Turning off HT?

Postby adkleaddog » Sat Apr 16, 2011 3:37 pm

What exactly will I gain, or lose by turning off HT?  I know there was something about load times, but what have you all experienced with it off as opposed as to on?

If you are talking about hyper threading then you gain nothing with it on as it relates to FSX.

Thanks for the reply! I as well have my system set for FSX performance, very stable and for an 860, I'm getting great results. The less heat the better, I'll leave it off and monitor any changes elsewhere, which prolly won't amount to much!

Cheers!
