Which of these two ATI HD cards

I already have the HD3870 512mb but have a chance of a free HD5550 1gb.

But can find any reliable comparisons, even tomshardware.

anyone advise, rest of system stats in signature

Get the free 5550, sell it for cash.


Keep the 3870 512mb.

Radeon 3870 is on average 116% as fast as the Radeon 4670.

1.43*1.16-1 = 3870 is 66% faster than 5550. It's probably not exact but the trend is obvious.
