I had some things going on around here and wanted to catch up on lost time.
Some months ago, I was just settling into my new system, and was asking for advice about settings and so on, and I'm glad to report that it runs pretty well, considering. I've been playing FSX, Battlefield 2 (the old one) C&C Generals "Zero Hour" and a few others.
Then it occurred to me that I still had some unfinished business here. Someone asked me if I could fly around with the PMDG 747 and in some busy area and still get good frames. The best I've seen on this setup is 15.3 er somethin in the 747-400X with Manhattan X. That's a killer scenery package, and my lil 512 MB video card doesn't really have the space for all those textures. But I took a few screenies, and here's one.
I'm sure this is right around average. How fast does the i7 crowd get? How far behind am I?
(and this time, can we pretend like we're all friends? I'm just askin a question...)
