Hello guys! It's been AGES since I was a regular here. I had to stop enjoying flight sims since I had to get rid of my old PC, and while I had a netbook, it was obviously not good for FS.
Finally got something barely decent, and dusted off my FS9 and FSX copies, thinking that due to the low specs of my computer, I'd be barely able tu run FS9 and not FSX.
However, the most strange thing is hapenning. FS9 gets no more than 16 FPS, with medium settings, while I get almost constant 20 FPS with FSX also on medium settings! "Why do you complaing?" most would say... Well, the thing is that ALL of my add ons (including some payware stuff) is for FS9...
My setup is:
eMachines ER1402-05
AMD Athlon II Neo K125
nVidia GeForce 9200, 256 MB shared memory
2 GB RAM (sans the 256 graphics memory)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
Any ideas on why is that happening?
It's nice to be back. Hope to become a regular member again.
