Another ram upgrade ***solved***

Postby Tai-2 » Thu Jan 21, 2010 5:57 pm

Well every since my mobo got fried by an newer model, but old PSU, I got a better motherboard. I want to try and get one of these: http://www.biostar-usa.com/app/en-us/mb ... p?S_ID=394
but I am having trouble finding them. I would love to have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... -_-Product
but not sure what my mobo can handle it or not voltage wise.
Because what I was told by tech support I should stick to the ram on the list. By the way I use a Biostar A760G M2+ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... -_-Product
So what would you recommended? Try for that ram, another ram stick, or spend a whole lot of money and time to find the ram on the list?
edit I want 4 GB total ram too. so 2x2GB

Solved now via excellent support via biostar

Thanks for the help, I think I am going to stick with a cheaper stick, but good brand. The XMS corsair
