What's a good DVD R/W?

Been having intermittent install errors, mostly 1603 which Microsoft says can range from dirty disks to a bad dvd RW.

SATA or IDE will depend on the rest of your rig. I've been using LG ones for donkeys and have always been pleased with them, but they're much of a muchness these days.
