Interesting article re Nvidia

Postby wsciutti » Wed Oct 14, 2009 5:58 am

Gentlemen,

I found this today and if it is in the wrong spot, my apologies.

To those of us that may be able to afford a 285 at some point, this is interesting.

Hope you're right Andy.

Anandtech reports are sometimes spot on and sometimes not.

Time will tell.

Wouldn't surprise me if they abandon it for a short period until fermi (GT300, next gen nvidia) comes out.

Also, I have no idea why one would rather have a GTX 285 over a Radeon 5870. 5870 is parity with the GTX 285 in MSFS, but completely obliterates it in everything else...

I would prefer the GTX 285... But then again I only play FS, and any other game I play isn't really graphic intensive.
