DirectX August Update Available

I am using it and I am seeing a notch of a performance boost. What are you all seeing?

The plecebo effect is alive & Well! (kidding)

Seriously, I installed last night a took a short flight and it did seem smoother.  I'll fly around more in some heavier areas.  I do hope this is an improvement.

Does it update DirectX 10?

I think it will as this is the runtime update.

No, the DirectX updates are not in the security updates. You have to do those on your own.
