CH Eclipse - How to dual pan view switches - differential braking

Postby FLFlyGuy » Thu Aug 27, 2009 10:20 am

I have the eclipse yoke and wondered if someone could point or instruct me on how to be able to use both of the pan view switches, and also differential braking using the red buttons on the back of the yoke.  I have looked in the CH site and couldn't find these.

Also, one more question while i"m here, I am going to place FSX on its own drive.  Should I install fsupic and serial fp2 (works with insight panel) on this same drive or install them on c:?  TIA

TIA.

Well as long windows detects all your buttons for your yoke, you can go inside the FS and change any of the keys.Including the ones you want the way you want ;).
I have the saitek Pro. But those keys and functions came already by default. On mine i didn't do it but try to instal the drivers that came with your yoke. Then go to control panel - game controlers-click on the device (if windows as detected, you will see it there)- avanced, and see if they all respond when you press them. Then inside of FS go to - settings - controlers and look for the desired function, delete the key is there by default- choose new key - and press and see if it is now the new key you want.Repat the same process until you are happy with it.Maybe then you need to configure youir axis for power, prop, and mixture.
But first see if you can get it this way, then we see what to do next.
:) ;)

I didn't realize the FS had the left/right brake but I see now that it does...thx.

Can you use both hat switches at the same time (not at the same time, but interchangeably) for pan view?

Right now only the left pan view works and I would like to use left and right.

Well that i cvnt help you much on that part.Mine only have one hat. But i guess FS will give it the functions of maybe, trim up and down or flaps up or down.
You need to waste a bit of time in the Flight Simulator and see what defaults he give you, then take note and change them on controler settings in the FS. ;)
