Saitek X45 problem

Postby IRAF_Paddy » Fri Jul 31, 2009 8:12 pm

My 5 year old X45 has started giving me major problems. When I go into slew mode(I am a scenery designer, checking work mostly and often) the aircraft rotates to the left. Rudder correction does not help If I stay in slew the display will lock up and I have to shut off the power to the computer, to reboot the machine. I plugged in an older Logiteck stick and the slew problem and lockup problem stopped.

My question is the Saitek stick save able? Has it died or is repair possible? Any info would be appreciated.

I am flying FS9, my machine is Asus mb, 3ghz intel processor, Nvidea 7600 gs 512mb 2gb Ramm WinXp ser pk3.
