Well I'm planning on building a new computer soon and want to make it a "budget" computer. I want to go with a C2Q 9550 and OC to the 3.6+ range. However I am having a hard time figuring out which memory to go with, fast DDR2 or DDR3. :-/
DDR2 only goes up to 1200mhz while DDR3 goes up to 2133mhz (yes, i realize that the C2Q will never use that kind of bandwidth
)So would it be better to go with DDR2 1200 or DDR3 1600 and up?
