FSX seperate drive

Postby sonic » Fri Mar 20, 2009 7:13 pm

I was just wondering of those of you that have installed FSX on a seperate drive. Have you seen enough improvement to go buy a SATA drive.
I have 2 hard drives on my machine right now but one is older and IDE just used for storage.
But I have 3 more SATA connections. So would it be worth it.
Specs
E6300, 3 gigs 800 Ram, 8800GT oc, 400gig Sata drive, Windows XP Pro 64 Bit..

Depending on the drive and how it's set up, you can get better load times and overall performance in the sim by having it in its own drive. I highly recommend it.
