Nick - format 64 cluster size?

Postby wsciutti » Mon Jan 26, 2009 5:04 pm

Hello again.

I noticed on another forum where you posted 8 Dec that you format the dedicated FSX drive in 64 cluster size.

I may go the route of adding a ded drive for FSX, a Raptor 150Gb, and would like to know how to do this?

Do I need XP 64 bit?

Thanks.

Just go to the computer management - disk manaagement console under administration tools and right click the new drive, then select to format.. in the box that appears for cluster or allocation unit size select 64k
