Problem with anti aliasing in FS9

Postby The-Black-Sheep » Mon Jan 05, 2009 12:17 pm

Hi folks

I have followed NickN's advice in this thread here...

http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2 ... 53/165#171

...about creating a new profile in Nhancer for FS9. However, after carrying out all instructions, FS9 still looks like its been run over by a truck. Anti aliasing has taken no effect at all. Its unchecked in FS9 and activated in Nvidia control panel. Have I missed something out?

Specs: 9800GT, Vista 32 bit

Any help is appreciated, and if you need more info about my system, let me know...but pleeeaase keep it simple  ;D

Cheers :)

1. did you install the SERVICE with Nhancer installed.. if not, it has no ADMIN RIGHTS to make changes

2. There is a bug in some drivers that cause what you are seeing in FS9. The fix in the past was posted here:

1. Find the MS Flight Simulator 2004 entry.
2. Press duplicate (this disables the original)
3. Remove the new duplicate. (this stops the "AA:EnhanceOnly" issue)
4. Create a new from scratch profile, point it to FS9.exe and make your settings

Check and see if the INGAME AA is gray'd out.. if it is that is the problem and you need to follow the directions above to fix that

make sure AA is UNCHECKED in FS9
