Something on mobo blew up.

Hey guys,

Could have a problem, No idea how bigger problem but is a lot more complicated than my experience can speak for.

A chip on my motherboard has blown up leaving quite a large black mark on it, no idea when it happened, could of been a long time ago and i havent used that part of the motherboard.

My specs are:

MOBO: GA-965P-DS3P
PSU: Stock 500w that comes with antec sonata III
CPU: E6400 2.13 Ghz OCed to 3.08 Ghz, (never raised voltage over stock)
HSF: Vendetta 2
GPU: Asus 4870 upgraded from a 7600 GT
HDD: 500Gb maxtor
2x DVD drives
NIC: wireless netgear 311 (i mention this because whatever it was that blew up was in the pci slot above the one perpendicular from the blown chips)

I do not remember smelling any smoke or anything bad but my computer is on all night a lot so it could of happened while i was sleeping.

I am sorry for the low res image, I will post a better one tomorrow, I just found this one on the net because i don't have my own camera.

If you can't see the image properly the pins that it is next to are firewire so im hoping it is to do with that because i never use them.

It was the chip on the right that blew out and the black mark extended approximately to the orange pci-e slot.
