i haven't checked this thread is a while... but from what you guys are saying, is this a shadow on the horizon for the 8800GTX/Ultra?

or does it still have a couple of good years on top of the food chain?

i ask because i'm weeks from buying another 8800GTX for SLI'ing purposes... and i fear by the time i get it, the cards will be dead in the water...

I have two 9800GX2s for Crysis.

FSX SLIing Results:
Single Card - Average of 40FPS
Quad-SLI - Average of 41FPS

FSX Overclocking Results:
Default Clocks - Average of 40FPS (this is single card, remember)
745/1862/1080 - Average of 42FPS (clocks are core, shader, and memory, respectively)

'Nuff said...

...Oh wait, I have a 2560x1600 monitor, along with a QX9650, and 4GB of RAM...

FS Water Configurator+ has new modifications in the works, plus DirectX 10, Service Pack
1, and Radeon HD 3+ Series support.

I'm badgering Fry's about having an Ad with a BFG 280 that was advertised for 300 dollars.

I'm not gonna let this one slide by me  ;)
