Flickers and Shimmers

Yes,  I have widescreen enabled in the cfg.  

I tried my other lcd monitor and I noticed the shimmering there too.  It is of course a much smaller screen and the flickering was not as obvious on that scale.

I remember back in fs9 I used super transparency aa and that stopped the visible shimmering cold-with a mipmap of 4.  I guess I am hopeful of obtaining at least that level of image quality which at the moment is sadly not there. I was running an athlon 4000 and a nvidia 6800gt back then-it was wonderful and seemed relatively uncomplicated to nail down-once decent drivers appeared.

I recall reading somewhere that the G92 cores are providing better results than the G80. Perhaps I should add one of those cards to my collection or just deal with this until the big guns come out this Summer.

The G92 is the same old crap. Its 8800 technology

It appears to me you are not able to accept the small amount of shimmering that will naturally occur no matter what you do.

Perhaps an autogen tree change?
