I own a Toshiba L25 and in 2 years I've gone through 2 power adaptors (almost to the day)! The first one had the outer protective coating spit open near the plug, exposing threads, and now my 2nd one beeps quietly, and does not deliver power when I plug it in.
First off, has anyone had this happen?
Secondly, what the heck is the beeping from my 2nd one mean?

Just ordered a new one from Toshiba (they're all pretty expensive), am I doing something wrong here?
