8800gt air cooler

Never thought Id bother with something that doesnt have a fan. Well....Im happy to say I have now! Tried putting a VNF100 cooler on my 8800gt clocked at 732/1880/1025 and the darn thing idles at 34C, I guess that shows how bad the single slot cooler was, went from 48C idle to 34C, not bad id say. Looks cool too ;) 35 bucks well spent.

Looks like some cool stuff. What is the cooler that is on your CPU? Was the included sink/fan too big? What CPU is it?

Zalman 9700, much bigger than the stock cooler. Keeps the q6600 at 28-30c idle, at 3.2ghz. My water cooling set up is coming tomorrow though, so fingers crossed :D
