It has been calibrated, it is just a couple of years old now. If you read reviews for that stick you will see similar problems poping up all over the place. Pretty much anyone that has had it for a year or two will start seeing it happen.
I think Logitech just used poor quality potentiometers in this stick that irreversably loose their calibration over time. This stick works excellent for about year or so, but then the rudder or other axis stop working correctly.
