Video card ?

Postby fox956 » Mon Jan 21, 2008 4:34 pm

Iam looking to replace my Radeon 9700  128M video card with either a 256M or possibly 512M. It has to be AGP card unfortunately. This minor upgrade is only until I can afford a complete new system.
What is the best card for now?
  Thanks.

PS.  A dual head card would be nice.

What about this one: Gecube X2400 Pro 512MB
AGP x8
Engine Clock 525 MHz
Memory Clock 800 MHz
Memory Interface 64 bit
RAMDAC 400 MHz
2nd VGA,DVI, Avivo ready, HDTV ready, supports HDCP and Direct X 10.

Should be around 80$.. How much money do you want to give? There are better AGP cards than this one but more expensive..

I was looking to spend about $150.00 or less.  I have looked at the Radeon X1650 pro and the Radeon HD 2600 pro. I am still up in the air on this one. Help appreciated. Thanks.

The fastest AGP graphics card is the ATI 1950 Pro.
