Hi,
If you have a problem with your computer, or need some advice on upgrading parts, then try to have these things in your post so that we can help you as fast as we can.
Make sure your topic's name is relevant
Please name your topic appropriately. We don't want 'Help Please' because then we don't know what kind of help you need until we actually look at the topic. Quite a few people simply ignore those topics because they show no interest. If, for example, you write 'Power Supply Trouble', then a person who is into PSUs will look, and help.
State your problem, or question
It could be asking about a problem with your hardware, or it could be about upgrading your computer.
State your budget (only for PC upgrading questions)
If you want to upgrade your system, but are on a budget of some sort, then please specify how much you are willing to spend. If you don't have a limit, then say so.
State your system specs
The general idea is to tell us what your computer is made up of. The processor, the motherboard, RAM, graphics card, power supply, and your operating system. These are the basic items. If there is anything else which may be related to your problem then add that too. If you are unsure of your system's specifications, then we will probably give you instructions on how to find out, using downloadable software.
These are the general things to show. If there is any other info that we require, we'll ask you for it, and if you're unsure of how to get that info, we'll tell you how.
This post is designed to help make it easier for everyone. The problem can be solved in the fastest time possible, and those who are here to help will have all the information they need at a glance.
Thanks,
Str!ker
