$289

$296

I dont know if that is the new stock or not. I did not run the number but I do not think it is.

Mwave would be my choice. ZipZoom is OK but I trust Mwave a bit more because they have a better support department.

Newegg is down to 325. I am sure that will continue to fall because they dont like getting topped. I expect they will offer the new stock before most others in the USA

I already got one in Portugal for 269 EUR which is still $369... but it's as cheap as it's going to be right now here.

Q6700 is out now

Newegg is pushing a bit on the price. Strange, I did not think Intel would let them get away with that being a large distributor but they probably look the other way during the initial rush, still its not a huge increase over the posted wholesale. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6819115027

and that is the new stepping at lower power consumption

Expect the QX6700 to come down in or around the second week of August, probably run around 699-750 for a limited time, possibly lower

Oh.. we don't have that one in Europe yet. Actually I saw it on a website from the UK but they don't sell to other countries. I am so moving to the States as soon as I can!

Ahh.... nice...
Intersting fact is, after all my hooting and hollering I still got to wait a bit longer... ::)
Unexpected difficulties in my means of ordering and more importantly shipping... Maybe by the time I get this sorted out Newegg will be the cheapest again.

Thanks Nick.

Waiting is good

Get the lower power need CPU and save up for a motherboard that will drive it, like a X38 with the 8pin power plug, or by then the P35 deluxe models may drop in price.

Nothing wrong with waiting. As a matter of fact I would wait till about mid-end August and see whats up. You may see some better hardware in your future.
