Which Computer should I buy for FS2004?

Postby DomSQ » Thu Jul 05, 2007 5:00 am

Hello guys,I'm new to this forum as you can see and I have a very important question,my question is what list of Laptop computers can play Flight Simulator 2004 in the Ultra-High settings on scenery,Aircraft, weather etc, basically I want the whole of the settings to be maxed out on ultra high settings so the graphics are the highest quality,I'm currently buying a new computer just for this reason as the Laptop I'm using now "Intel Celeron M Processor Compaq Presario M2000" is only capable of playing FS2004 in the very low graphics settings as the video/graphics card in it is well "crap" for playing games.

So yep if you guys could please give me a list of computers that can do that and cheapest first obviously, that'd be awesome, thanks.

To run FS9 you could easily make it maxed out with 1GB RAM, AMD athlon dual core/intel dual core 2.00Ghz+ and a Nvidia GF7500+. There is no certain list (well i dont think there is) witch will tell you. run of these guidelines or take a look around on some computer websites you should find what your looking for eventually.

Thanks for the reply's everyone,it's much appreciated,I'll look into those systems and I'm currently in Australia by the way,so anyone that could give me a list of the cheapest possible laptops that can run FS2004 in maximum graphics settings in Aus as I've said, that'd be great,as I'm not too gifted with computer technology too much.

Thanks again.

I'd say I'm looking in the $1,000-$2,500 Aus price range if that's more help.
