xp home & cd-w

Postby luke » Sun Jun 24, 2007 11:08 am

In the XP Pro I can format a CD-W & drag in, save to or delete files at will.

In the XP Home PC ,
a) the above CD-W can be read but cannot drag or save files in it, saying it is of uknown format.

b) Using a new CD-W, when I drag / save files another window opens asking if I want to write these files and a long process starts to write them.

c) it does not allow files to be deleted though, only if I eraze the whole CD-W.

d) when I right click on the CD-W it does not show "format", as per xp pro.

Can anybody enlighten me of how to operate a CD-W proberly in XP Home?

thanx            luke
