too bad i cant view Youtube because im in Thailand.

u know, one of the things i do with FS, is that when i want to take a screenshot, i max everything out, take the screenie, then go back to normal settings.

that makes my screenies look brilliant, even tho that's not actually what i get.

i just wish i could max out everything and fly normally :'(.

FS Water Configurator+ has new modifications in the works, plus DirectX 10, Service Pack
1, and Radeon HD 3+ Series support.

Another thing that bugs me is that he is using Vista. Again if he were in XP he would be better off.

Didn't I read in another thread that with FSX SP1, you'll get dual processors working up a sweat under Vista?  Maybe it would run better under Vista than XP.

Actually CT he has a 5 or 6 part series on putting that beast together and what is the point of making such a thing and then putting a lastgen OS on it just so he can get a little better performance from one game he will prolly never ever play again:P From the looks of his work area he knows what he is doing when it comes to hardware, and makes a lot of money doing it. I think he is running all of his hardware pretty close to stock when he took that video, also he has many other video demos of various things like the dx10 demo, NFS:Carbon etc etc showing you how they look and perform. Also he gets bad FPS but keep in mind the resolution he is running on that 30" screen has got to be putting that gpu under some stress. As you may watch he has something like 6 DVD drives in it so he said "I never need to worrie about changing disks or finding no-cds." He also has something like 3.2 TBs of HDD space in there. I think he just bought FS just because it was out there and something that he could test on his machine. Nevertheless I want it...bad 8-)

Probably the resolution is why his FPS are lower. I get 15-30FPS most places with everything maxed and no traffic.
