I have a x52 and for some reason when its plugged in the computer won't reconize it and the multil function display dosen't work or even light up and i don't have any ideal what is wrong wiht the thing.
I bought it about 2 years ago and don't have the box it came in or the reciept, so i can't take it back to the place i bought it and i don't know how or where to get it fixed.
Any help on this problem what really be wonderful, for the price i paid you would think that it wouldn't have mess up so quick(i quit working about a year ago).

no i bought it brand new from a major chain that i won't mention. I used it sucessfully for about 4 months then one day I went to plug it in and the multi function display wouldn't work and the computer wouldn't reconize it.

well, since it seems that the problems hav occured out of nowhere, im thinkingit might be dead... :-/

but, just in case, make sure all the contacts are clean on the thing.  unplug, replug, inplug (is that a word?), the cable going from the throttle section to the joystick.  and try any, and all USB ports on ur computer.

to make sure it isnt a hardware thing, then take it to a friends house and plug it in.  if it doesnt come up, then fear the worst...

if the worst has happened, take it to ur local gadget or peripheral repair shop, and they'll try to fix it.

thank for the info, I have bought a new computer since it happened so maybe it will work now but im not going to hold my breath.

Mine did that when I installed Vista...could just be vista. It worked just fine with XP.
