Motion chair

Postby FLYING_TRUCKER » Wed May 30, 2007 9:35 pm

Sometime last year I asked the question about a motion chair that could be used with the personal computer flight sim program.

I think Doug "Hagar" sent me a link and now that I have this new computer for the love of me I do not know the name of the company or a link to it.

I have been searching the web for "Motion chairs, Flight Simulation Chairs, Gaming chairs etc." and not one of them is the chair I remember seeing.

Does anyone have an idea or know of a motion chair that can be used for FSX?

All comments most welcome.   ;)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

This one is very effective...tried it at the IFC last year

http://www.cyberseat.co.uk

Fits through a standard 30" door and runs off standard domestic powr supply (less than 3kW) and uses 2 USB connectors (one for the seat and one for the hotas)

Thanks Jim that is one I had not looked at before.
It is probably more than what I am looking to spend as the one I remember seeing was more of a chair (could purchase two chairs side by side) and I believe it was made in the United States which would make it easier to have maintenance done to it for me being in Canada.   :)

Thanks John that is a new one as well, not the one I am looking for though, the one I saw posted here was a chair (like a car seat) and was mounted to a pad and you could get dual chairs as well.  I have been up and down the different forums looking for it as I am sure it was Doug (Hagar) that found it for me.  I can not find it on the internet either but I am sure someone will remember seeing it sooner or later.

I saved it on the other computer and of course they cleaned the hard drive when they took it, another mistake learned the hard way.   ;D

Thanks for your replies though.
