Hi Guys

Just ordered the X52 Pro today, for those of you that have it, what do you use for reverse thrust, can you configure the throttle or is it still a button?

Thanks

I went from X52 to X52 pro I still do the same use good olde F2 for reverse thrust like defualt, the flaps with the left flap switch things and so on. I try to confiq it like a real control stick and throttle.

I thought of quite a good idea, programme one of the buttons on the throttle for reverse, so instead of pressing F2 press the button on the throttle, makes it a little more real I guess.

u can reverse thrust with an analogue throttle, but not a digital.

when u calibrate the analogue, u set the bottom as sort of near the bottom, but not quite.  that way, in FSX when u pull the throttle all the way back, it turns negative, which makes FSX go reverse thrust.

id like to see negative values on a digital joystick... :-/

If you really want to, you can, but it will effect the way the throttle spools up aswell.

Go into profile editor and find 'Throttle' then select 'Bands' I would say about 0-10% would be f2, and everything above that would be the key command for engines to spool up, but then, moving your throttle around within the 10-90% band would have no effect on the spooling down of engines, you would have to move it into the 0-10% band for the engines to spool down again, and you will never be able to keep a 'constant' value without using auto-thrust.

I wouldn't suggest it, but its always there if you want to try.
