Futile search.

You would think that it should be easy to buy a can of compressed air to clean out the inside of your case ......

Not if you live in the Chesterfield / Alfreton areas of England. I've just spent the last 3 hours going from computer component supplier, to independent computer builder, to electrical component supplier, to hardware shop, back to computer component supplier etc etc ..... all in vain .....  :'( :'( :'(

The only place that had compressed air cannisters in a 10 mile radius of the house was a compressor supplier who couldn't guarantee that the contents would be moisture free as the cannisters he supplied were for airbrushes. I was even in one electrical component shop (a national chain) and when I asked if they sold compressed air cannisters  the reply was "Why would we have them? ..... What have they to do with electronics?" :-/ :-/

There's one more possibility (without having to pay exorbitant delivery charges online) ....... a gas fitters .... they use compressed air to  clean dust and dirt off pilot light contacts in gas boilers.

Not a good idea to use the hoover on the PC Paul as the electrostatic energy can damage and shorten the life of components ;)

Cheers Richard ........ I'll give the photo shop a try.

Thanks Jim ....... if you check the delivery charges  it's only worth while if you order in bulk.
It looks like Maplin no longer stock it ....... or it's out of stock.
