SAITEK Pro Rudder Pedals - opinion?-

Hi,

I found this SAITEK product on the Net. just asking you guys if you have this thing for simming and any opinion you want to share... coz i think I gonna buy it soon, but I worry it won't serve me well...

can I just use it together with other brand of joystick that i currently have OR it can only be used when coupled with Saitek x-52 joystick?

Hi,

as far as I know it can be used with any other joystick. Since the Saitek X-52 has no ports to connect anything to it, I suppose the pedals have their own USB cable and as such Windows will recognise it as a separate joystick. It's just a matter of making the right settings in FS for rudder control.

I've visisted to SAITEK's website and came accross the user manual there, but the user manual is so brief and confusing when it writes:

"The Pro Flight Rudder Pedals work with any Saitek PC Flight Stick, but are designed
specifically to complement the Saitek X52 Flight Control System to enhance flight sim experiences"

I try to ask from their forum but the registration process fails.

I appreciate if some more reassuring (& honest) oppinion.

The CH pedals are fine, but i have got a chance to give the Saitek pedals a go, and i can say there sticks are great, so i hope they kept up the same quality with the pedals.

Dont worry it will work, a friend of mine has it running with his CH Yoke.

I think that it should work fine because i use a saitek ST290 joystick and the pedals on my Logitech MOMO sterring wheel as rudder pedals
