This is an OEM correct? The drivers they include suck like a donkey show (you're in mexico I couldn't resist). Uninstall the driver and install a real nVidia driver. Also what card exactly is it? If you got an HP, most likely its a 6150LE which may not like the widescreen anyway.

This is why I avoide the widescreens for pc's. they confuzilate me and my 2 or 3 working brain cells. all i can say is good luck
