Goofy Problem

Postby Mobius » Mon Nov 27, 2006 12:03 am

Well, maybe not goofy, but whenever I try to defrag, it analyzes my hard-disks, then starts to defrag, and after a while, I get a blue screen and then the computer restarts.  I've got two 250GB WD hard drives in RAID 0, and I have tried using the default windows defrag program, O&O defrag, and diskeeper, it happens with all of them.  It doesn't seem like anything bad has happened yet, but I don't really want to mess with it and fry something that shouldn't be fried.

Any help would be appreciated, and if you need more information about the problem or my computer, don't hesitate to ask!  Thanks.

I've been getting a few blue screens lately myself, I thought it was my ram but I found 10 viruses.... do any virus scans lately? Sounds as if a file it trys to move etc is bugged up and needs help! I don't think I can be much help on this.

Cheers, Gunny
