Microphone issue

Microphone issue

On every computer I have ever had you mute the microphone in the sound settings and it wont play your voice through the speakers, well on my new computer, guess what? you mute it, and it mutes the microphone completely! I can hear my voice, or I can send no voice transmission, anyone have a fix for this? Cheers, Gunny

Who is your sound card provider. I know on C-Media boards this is the case.

After searching, I came to the conclusion that I need a sound card.... Unfortunatly my old 'cheapo' caused my last comp to go.... lol! Cheers, Gunny
