Streaming XP-Pro-SP2 revisited

Postby luke » Tue Sep 26, 2006 5:01 am

For anybody interest in this.

Managed at last to accomplish Streaming XP-Pro-SP1 with SP2.

The mistake I was making was that I was using the SP2 CD I created with the 277mb download "WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU" from MS site, giving me a very large file that did not go into a CD.

Instead I should be using the SP2 Service Pack itself "WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU" which gave, with some removals, 352mb that Burned with Niro into a CD.

The CD starts the XP-SP2 installation all right, but have not used it in anger yet.

To help stream any XP version with SP2 google & one of many found is:-
