Opinion plz

In your opinion, in a range between $100 and $170 pci exp.What is the best video card we can buy.

probably a 7600gt, although i know practically nothing about this card so you'll have to wait untill some people in the hardware forum gives their opinions.
My PC specs:
AMD Athlon 64 3200 (@ 2.2ghz)
Asus K8v se deluxe motherboard
1.5gb pc3200 RAM
128mb palit geforce 6600gt
200gb+80gb hard drives
21 inch CRT
5.1 creative surround sound speakers

I would wait for a vidio card purchase... the BUzzzzzzzzzz is Nvidia is releasing a set of cards in about 2 weeks. The 7950 is going to single core and they are rumored to be releasing a 7900GS with it. That will drive the price down on the other Nvidia cards AND force a price WAR with ATI.


Give it 2-3 weeks and then evaluate your decision for a card.
