Reformating Raid 0 Array

Postby chuckcrc » Sat Aug 19, 2006 5:45 am

Hi

I want to reformat my RAID 0 array (2 x Raptor sata drives)so I can reload a new install of WinXP as I've got corrupted files from a big crash when I was o/c my pc.

My question is:  is there a best setting for the Stripe cluster size.  The current setting is 64k which the instructions says is the optimal setting.
I heard others here say that a cluster/stripe size of 8 k is good for FS9 etc.

Any suggestions ?

thanks chaps
cheers
