No, I did not see the post about that and I do not know anything about the Asus A8NE-FM. That sounds like a board used in Emachines or other OEM's but I could be wrong.
I just got a 3800 X2 Manchester and on the stock fan and stock speeds it never goes over 40 degrees celsius. The temperature is always between 37 and 39 degrees.
