Why pay twice the price for that!? (if you only playing fs9) Browse through them pages and tell me if you think it's worth it.

That link refers to a test performed in November of 2004 which was back when Nvidia owned Tom because of SLI being released. I think hardware, support for SLI and squashing Toms silly rumors has come a bit further in a year and a half.

Although it does not have 100% SLI support, FS9 will run fine with an SLI rig and since SLI has at this time been slated to be the standard, , (actualy ONE of the standards), if one has the money to spend, SLI (or buying to prepare for SLI) would be a better investment.

Just like FS9, FSX will run on low end video products. Think of the difference between between running FS9 on an Intel onboard graphics chip in a Dell computer from 2003 and an overclocked 7900GXT 512 and you will have a frame of reference in understanding what FSX will want to see for maximum performance and visuals.

The FSX teasers you have seen thus far are not developed on high end systems for a reason. They do not want to scare away the market because the advertisement shows the ability of FSX on hardware that is not available to the public.

If they used hardware which IS being used to develop DX10 and future games to make the teasers, 1/2 the market would not buy the FSX product out of fear their hardware won
