My pc is dying!
Right now i am running in safe mode, but when i try to turn it on, it stays more then an hour in the "Windows Xp" screen ( where the blue bar moves and stuff....

I think it is going to be about time for me just to restore my pc to factory presets. That means... no FS9, because i dont know where i left it.... this isnt the best day of my life....

Try popping in your XP reinstall disc and try the repair option, you may get it fixed without losing anything.
If not go buy another copy of FS9

You could buy a hard disk and re-install to that, then add your old drive and get your game folder back and everything else you want.

Hard drives are cheap.

My PC couldn't start up even in safe mode so I reformatted and reinstalled Windows and everything is back to normal. It was pretty quick too. Less than 30 minutes. I remember when I had Windows 98 on a PII and it took 2 hours to install Windows.

oh well, thanks for all the advice people. I just started in safe mode, went to system restore and went back like about a month.... I only lost 2 songs and this mod for Halo 2.... oh well. But i still have to clean it! I only have 3.06Gb left ( out of 25Gb)
