Trouble is, that with an MX card, flying isn't exactly an apt description if AA and clouds are both enabled, I'm remembering 6 frames/sec if I'm not mistaken.......

When I was useing my old Dell w/ intagraded graphics I didn't fly with clouds. Then again I was only shooting approaches so I guess it didn't realy matter.

Only 6!... :o I still have an old computor running with an MX440 and i can get 10-15fps with AA, AF and clouds running! I'm also using Forceware 84.21 drivers on it.

His computers probably more powerfull than yours overall which is giving him the higher fps.

It probably won't do any harm to download the latest drivers from Nvidias website

It's not impossible. Admittedly I only had FS2002 but my old Duron 700mhz system could, away from traffic and major cities get 20 FPS with fairly high graphics and weather. That was a gForce4 ti, but the Duron processor was holding it back a lit.
