7600 is like a 6200 or 6600 I think, not sure, I've fallen behind the times on modern tech, but if you compare it to the 6 series you have the 6200, 6600, 6800, in the 7 series I am not sure how low they go, but I'd take the 7600 GT if its only for fs, if its more than just that, 7900GT Cheers, Gunny

7900GT all the way. Better core, better card. Also only about $20 more. Just be warned that they do not come in AGP.

ok, so ill more than likely go for the 7900.  now, bear in mind im not too good with the hardware side of pcs.  i noticed on the nvidia web site that the memory on the 7900 is GDDR3.  now, my mother board has dual channel ddr 2 written on it.  does that mean its incompatable?

thanks, scott

RAM on the video card is ON THE CARD. It dosn't plug into the mobo. When a card says "shared memory" thats when it steals system memory to help it along. Its comon with the X300, X1300, 7300, and FX series cards.

Any time. Just don't wan't you to get the wrong hardware ;)

Oh ya, also make sure to get a Leadtech or eVGA one. (Pref the eVGA KO series)
