Hot Hardware's article on it will give you more information than the Agea page will. Personally I don't see the PPU going anywhere.

well yeah it wont go anywhere, with that attitude. now we're going to see half ass PPU's come out just because Nvidia and ATI want the bite out of the cake before ageia gets a chance.

geez, quick to judge, i wanna see how far ageia can get with this, i have hopes.

The problem with the PPU is that its not needed. Only a few games (G.R.A.W. and F.E.A.R) really are set up for it to help, and everything else does just fine with the CPU doing the physics. Soon enough we are going to see PPUs built onto GPUs.
