GAR I WANT TO KILL ATI!  I installed it and now I cant find CCC.  ITs just missing!  The comp says that I have catalyst version 6.5, but I cannot find the actual control center and now all my color settings are gone.  I hate ATI.  God damn someone please help me!

I have found that if you follow the "normal procedure" for uninstalling and reinstalling ATI drivers........ they seem to work fine.

But the normal procedure is NOT what ATI tell you to do  ;).  You need to do a thrid party complete cleaning with "Driver Cleanr" after you do ATI's uininstall to get the stuff that the ATI installer utility leaves behind.

Performance is the same as 6.4 and the A-AA still causes 3D image corruption on an AIW x800xt

Im seriously considering getting an nVidia card.  Maybe if I make enough money with a summer job ill get a 7800GT or something.  My card is good, does its job, performs quite well, but sometimes ATi just pisses me off.  I guess all those games that say nVidia:They way its meant to be played are right :-/

Well ATi has its place, and that place happens to be Media. ATi cards tend to give a better DVD picture than nVidia. Also their AIW cards are much much better than those of nVidia.

Basically for the money currently nVidia are the best. For the benchmark ATi wins......barely
