Lower spec, actually no. The 6800 has a lesser core clock because it has more pixel pipelines than the 6600 does. It also has Pixel Shader 3, something the 6600 dosn't. Go with that, its a better card.

Doesn't the GeForce 6600 have Pixel Shader 3??? I believe it does.

The 6600GT does, not the strate 6600 if I remember correctly.
