I would pick C because it has more RAM and a bigger hard drive and screen than B.
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 3.2 GHz
2 GB Corsair Dominator PC2-8500
8800GTX 768MB
22" Monitor
Vista Ultimate

Oh but Matt how little you know. For gameing its AMD all the way. Also the 4200+ wipes the floor with the Pentium D. I would agree with the addition of another GB of RAM (something that I find myself needing), however what concerns me the most is

1: What manufacture is the RAM / HDD. These are two huge factors in a product.

2: Where are you getting this system from.

Cheers

7900gt's a good card better than the 2x7600gt's.  Go with AMD and get 2gb of ram.

Also you can always add another 7900gt later.

I would get an extra 1GB of RAM to take it to 2GB.  It is not the end of the world if you don't though (however BF2 will benefit).  Just do it for Vista, and the programs that will come out at that time.

Are you building your comp?  For such a high-end system like that you will save quite a bit building it yourself.

You will save about $75 depending on which Case, PSU, and Mobo you use.
