Oh NO !  I like this MX310 so much, I've stocked up on them  ::)   Now I have to go out and try the MX518..

Don't ask me, I'm a trackball man, m'self. Took some getting used to, but I love it- saves a lot of valuable real estate on the desk. Tricky for gaming, but I don't do much of that lately (and if I resume, I'll probably get a USB controller ).
But your USB mouse should just come online w/o any extra software...
