Microphone problems

Postby flyboy 28 » Mon May 01, 2006 3:06 pm

Alright I have a problem fellas. My microphone dosen't work. Actually I shouldn't say that its my mic, but the hardware in my PC. I try to talk on Teamspeak to no avail, Skype the same thing and also AIM talk. Honestly I have no idea what's wrong, but maybe someone could point me in the right direction? :) Thanks

Have you went to Device Manager to see if there is a error flag there.

Also check in the Sound and Speech settings in control panel to make certain your mic/headset is enabled or not muted.

Also just bust out the good ole' Sound recorder, and see if that picks up anything. You may be in the same boat as my trusty Logitech, and just have too much dust in the mic itself.
