It will be fine for your eyes, however what are your system specs, as you may not be able to enjoy the true 3D effect.

Hi Capt.  I enjoy my eDimensional brand very much with flight simulation.

If the glasses are used with a montor set at a 60 Hz refresh rate then there is a substantial flicker on the screen.  My wife says any flashing like that is very annoying.  (The glasses divide up the frames into left eye/right eye.  Effectively cuts the refresh rate in 1/2).

So you need a monitor that runs at 75 Hz or more.  Mine runs at 85Hz and there is no noticable flashing.  FS9 seems to want to kick the rate back down to 60Hz no matter how the video card settings are adjusted, so I use "refresh lock" which keeps the refresh at 85Hz.

hope you enjoy them if you decide to make the purchase!

Hi :), I tried several freeware programs, the one I like best is by Gregory Maynard-Hoarelectus.  It is fairly easy to use and seems to work better than the other ones.  His link is:

By the way, my card is also a Geforce 6600GT.  I also wrote down some other tricks that might be of interest at my website, http://3Dflghtsim.com
